Maroa Freedom Festival

Parade starts at 11 am and will be the normal route. All entries for the parade are accepted. To get registered for the parade you may contact Blake West at 217-855-4392. There will be a trophy for the most patriotic dressed person, bike and pet. Please show up by 10 am or shortly after to get lined up for the parade. The Grand Marshall for the parade this year is Harold Dunham. All other events will start after the parade about noon. There will be food trucks, kid pedal tractor pulls, kids wet/dry inflatables, exotic zoo with camel, reindeer, donkey, etc. We are expecting around 60 plus vendors. Bag tournaments at City Hall- signups @ 11:30 am. Youth League Pinto tournaments @ ball fields. Illinois Party Band X Krush which is celebrating 25 years in music will be playing behind City Hall starting at 7 pm right into the fireworks and then for another hour after the fireworks. The fireworks will start at 9 pm and will sync with music from 95.9 FM. So come out and enjoy time with friends and family.
