Event Details:

As part of the Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony, the Mayor throws the switch to light over 250,000 lights around the Municipal Complex, Elk Grove Public Library, Elk Grove Park District Pavilion, and on the tree donated by a resident. Hot chocolate and cookies are provided, along with a spectacular fireworks show after the tree is lit, and a special visit by Mr. and Mrs. Claus. The 2019 ceremony will feature a holiday performance by The Ides of March featuring Jim Peterik!
