The Tinley Park-Park Districts Annual 4th of July Celebration is a huge community event in celebration of our nations independence. After the morning Stars and Stripes 5K race, the opening ceremonies kick off at 4 p.m., and live music, food, free games, and more fill the days activities all the way up until the Tinley Park Fireworks Extravaganza display once the sun sets.
5K Run/Walk (9:05AM) and the parade (11:05AM), fireworks at the University of Illinois parking lot E14 (just west of Assembly Hall) The 2019 parade theme is “Flight in Space”
I tried to look at a map to get an exact location, and I gotta say, I couldn’t make head nor tail of it. But if you head towards Assembly Hall, I’m sure you’ll find it.
Events start at 6:00pm with prep for the parade, which is at 6:30pm. There will also be a concert at the park before the fireworks.
Beer garden, food court, DJ, basketball tournament and fireworks!
Bring your blanket, radio and family for the annual Sky Concert in Miller Park. Fireworks begin at approximately 9:15 pm and will be set to music on WJBC AM 1230. Prior to the fireworks see the Celebrate America production at 6:00 pm. The Sky Concert is sponsored by Bloomington Parks , Recreation & Cultural Arts, State Farm Insurance and WJBC.
The tradition of fireworks is returning to Roselle again this summer on July 3 at Lake Park High School West Campus, 500 W. Bryn Mawr Ave. Planned festivities Include live music and fireworks at dusk. Coolers okay but no alcohol please.
Events include food, live music, games for the kids.
There will be live music, entertainment for the kids and a fireworks display! Bring your lawn chair, and some snacks. In case of inclement weather, they will move the festivities into the Terrace Centre.
Three days of events in Peoria and East Peoria, including live music and fireworks, July 3-5, 2019. The website says it’s the biggest fireworks display in Illinois; and it’s something like $100k worth of fireworks, which is one honking big show.
